Company Undergoing Exponential Growth in LED Circuit Board Manufacturing

EBW ELECTRONICS NEWS, November 2014

Testimony that electronics manufacturing is back on shore, EBW Electronics has undergone 700 percent growth past five years, earning recognition in a number of ways. Most recently, Pat LeBlanc, chairman of EBWE, was named 2014 Small Business Person of the Year by the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce. Each year, the chamber honors a small businessman or woman based on nominations from its piers. LeBlanc and EBWE were cited for the company’s exponential growth, job creation and its economic impact on of the community. Adding to its list of accolades, EBWE was yet again named to The 2014 Inc. 500/5000 annual rankings list, which recognizes the fastest-growing private companies in America. The company has grown 166 percent in the last three years, nearly tripling its revenue in that timespan. EBWE has doubled its employees within that period as well. And there’s the business growth. EBWE is in the midst of constructing a 36,000 square foot addition to its current manufacturing plant, doubling the footprint in Holland, MI to 71,000 square feet. The expansion will add nine additional surface mount component automated assembly lines, and it will include two new lab areas. Scheduled for completion in early 2015, the office additions include new employee entrance, lunchroom and locker room, as well as a new two-story office space with a glass wall facing out onto the production floor.
