What will I need to demonstrate?
In the Accounting and Finance department at EBWE you must be able to meet the following requirements; what Accounting Manager Enthusiast couldn’t, right?

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting; as well as at least 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
  • Experience with cash management, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and audits.
  • Proven history of leadership skills and best practices.
  • Computer competency is critical. Having knowledge of accounting software and systems will be beneficial. Prior PLEX experience would be ideal.

These are the core values we are looking for in an individual who is interested in bringing their experience to EBW Electronics talent pool. The Manufacturing Engineer will be involved in developing and implementing optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. This individual will recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls. And will be responsible for coordinating the manufacturing launch for new or revised products.

Supervisor

Supervises employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment while producing highly automated Printed Circuit Board Assembly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicates work assignments to shift employees
  • Implement policies and procedures and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. Assists and supports EBWE in continuously improve initiatives.
  • Ensures effective employee relations by providing employee coaching and development. Resolves employee issues through problem resolution.
  • Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
  • Manages shift performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports.
  • Enforce Safety procedures and perform accident investigations.
  • Participate in Corrective Actions.

Facilitator

The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate the creation and implementation of continuous improvement plans based on the Lean Principles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to company core values and all safety and quality requirements.
  • Assists in the interview process to identify qualified candidates for manufacturing.
  • Leads cross-functional teams through kaizen events and the implementation of the lean toolset (e.g. job breakdown, line balancing, standard work, 5S, material and information flow, and SMED).
  • Provides ongoing communication to plant and group management on lean initiatives.
  • Ensures that workshop activities address Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost requirements.
  • Establishes best practices for the business. Works with other Facilitators across shifts to calibrate and establishes guidelines for lean implementation.
  • Leads training efforts as new standards are written.
  • Performs other functions as required.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing.
  • Previous experience in leadership position.
  • Demonstrates initiative to lead others for improved performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Versed in daily application of Kaizen principles.

Senior Manufacturing Operator

The primary purpose of this position is to lead an area to success with humble leadership and active involvement in production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sets up and operates an area to make product within specific tolerances.
  • Interprets engineering specifications.
  • Aids in establishing the sequence of operation and standard work.
  • Active in continuous improvement ideas to find more efficient solutions in the area.
  • Uses a variety of machine tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Performs quality inspections of own or other’s work utilizing test equipment.
  • Fits and assembles precision parts into mechanical equipment and determines material, parts, and equipment required. Some machines may be controlled by computer systems.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
  • Operates within a specific area and are responsible for coordination of a small team.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience

  • Has worked with small teams before and understands how to consult a team when questions arise.

Quality Technician

The 2nd Shift Quality Technician will support the activities of the Engineers and Production staff in day-to-day factory floor activities and issues with customers and suppliers. Technicians will operate the test machines and collect data in order to verify the quality of products being shipped to customers.

  • Inspect products using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, oscilloscope and vision prior to shipment.
  • Test incoming raw materials.
  • Measure key quality characteristics of a process by sampling parts and analyzing trends.
  • Responsible for keeping all gauges and test machines used for monitoring quality calibrated and properly maintained. This can involve using test standards and masters to check readings and adjust tools accordingly.
  • Address customer complaints that are passed on about the quality of the final product by conducting any measurement duties needed in resolving the problems, such as analyzing or sorting returned product.
  • Utilize the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to insure that all requirements of new or changed parts or processes are understood and addressed and those quality requirements are defined and communicated to suppliers.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • College or certifications courses a plus
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Quality Assurance role

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • TS 16949 or ISO 9001 / 2000 experience/knowledge, electronic, IPC, PCB, TS or ISO Auditor, ability to understand GD&T or read blueprints.
  • Competent in statistical process control techniques, GR&R, GD&T and print reading. Good understanding calibration/use of gages, problem solving, and continual improvement methods and processes.
  • Ability to operate or learn how to program computer-aided inspection equipment or electronics testers and maintain uniformity in programming methods.

SMT Operator

Job Duties/Skills:

  • Follow all related work instructions, achieve quality goals and production targets, and comply with safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Perform PCB loading/unloading, transfer conveyance, screen printing, SM machinery, and reflow oven operations.
  • Do setup and teardown of cassette, tray and vibratory feeders, and hand-place components.
  • Log-in to the Surface Mount Management System (SMMS) database at startup and log data as necessary.
  • Report to your team leader and inform SMT Technicians of all problems and issues. Log all data related to SM problems in the SMMS database.
  • Apply your knowledge of IPC specifications related to SMT assembly. Ensure quality meets or exceeds quality requirements.
  • Perform basic daily cleaning of machine surfaces, scrap bins and surrounding SMT production areas (5S).
  • Meet or exceed production targets.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Surface mount and computer skills preferred.

AOI Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Navigate and operate in Windows OS environment performing proper PC boot up and shut down and able to navigate drop down menus
  • Print & Documentation recognition and interpretation of Customer/EBW Prints, WI’s/VA’s, Bill of Material, and IPC
  • Inspect the board under the camera to ensure solderablity to be IPC compliant, part placement correct, and for orientation and polarity to be accurate.
  • Advise Tech if part is off from what the silkscreen on the PCB’s shows.
  • Check for skewing, no solder and missing parts.  Crucial visual inspection of the board to ensure quality

Education/ Experience:

  • High School Education or Equivalent is required.
  • Experience in Electronics and/ production environment preferred

Conformal Coat/Select Solder Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Using spray equipment to conformal coat PCBA’s
  • Cleaning and preparing PCBA’s for the conformal coat process, removing labels or debris
  • Precisely masking components, connectors, and other items indicated in the Work Instructions
  • Repairs any nonconformities in the coating or RTV
  • Learns mixing procedure of chemicals (coating, thinners, etc.)
  • Performs standard maintenance on all conformal coating related equipment
  • Follows the documented management system, including the Quality Policy. Further, the employee is required to understand how their job can affect customer satisfaction and/or product quality.
  • Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned

Education/ Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months experience in electronics environment

Job Duties:

  • Demonstrate ability to hand-solder complex, fine-pitched leaded and lead-free products. Perform hand soldering of through-hole to complex SMD parts on printed circuit boards.
  • Demonstrate enhanced IPC inspection knowledge for parts placement, solder inspection reflow and through-hole, PCB/component damage, final assembly inspection, PB & PB-Free PCA handling, electrostatic discharge.
  • Demonstrate the ability to read a bill of materials and secure correct components required to perform rework.
  • Demonstrate ability to use a hot plate, a hot air gun and a microscope as required for soldering operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior soldering and PCBA experienced preferred.

  • Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing for processing.
  • Determining items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped based on written orders.
  • Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
  • Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
  • Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders ready to be shipped.
  • Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
