If you are looking for a position with a thriving, local, high-tech company, consider joining the EBWE team! EBW Electronics is currently looking for full-time Assemblers to join our production team on 1st or 2nd shift.

As an Assembler with us, you will perform testing of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly, assembly both simple and complex, and may perform Hand Soldering of complex parts to PCB’s. On a regular basis you may:

  • Perform assembly with Wire Harnesses, Mechanical Connectors and Housings, Through Hold, and Final Assemblies
  • Interpret customer/EBWE prints, WI’s/VA’s and Bill of Materials
  • IPC inspection of part placements, solder inspection reflows and through hole, PDB/Component damage, Final Assembly Inspection, PB & PB-Free PCA handling and Electrostatic Discharge
  • Perform quality checks and troubleshoot failed results on products that are run through testing equipment designed
  • Hand solder complex, fine pitched leaded and lead-free products
  • Preform hand soldering of through hole to complex surface mounted device (SMD) parts to PCB’s
  • Read bill of materials and secure correct components required to rework
  • Use hot plate, hot air gun and microscope as required for soldering operations

We believe an Assembler will be someone who believes in high quality and enjoys details, parts and pieces.  In addition, you will need the following to be successful:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent – Required
  • Understand the fundamentals of testing and quality – Required
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills – Required
  • Organizational skills, attentive to details and accountable – Required

We prefer if Assembler’s have the following:

  • Prior assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior Soldering and PCB assembly experience
  • Have an understanding of Polarity

If you are looking for a new challenge with a thriving, local, high-tech company, consider joining the EBW team! EBW Electronics is currently looking for a full-time 3rd Shift Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator to join our production team.

As an SMT Operator with us, you will operate the surface mount line equipment in a safe and effective manner.You will also:

  • Follow all related work instructions, achieve quality goals and production targets and follow all safety guidelines and regulations
  • Perform Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Load/Unload, Transfer Conveyors, Screen Printer, Surface Mount (SM) Machines, and Reflow Oven
  • Perform component setups and teardowns of Cassette Feeder, Tray Feeders, Vibratory Feeders, and Hand Placed Components
  • Utilize the Surface Mount Management System Database (SMMS) to login, startup services and log data
  • Inform Team Leaders and SM Technicians of all problems and issues logging appropriate data into the SMMS database
  • Perform basic daily cleaning of machine surfaces, scrap bins and surrounding SM production areas
  • Meet or exceed production set targets ensuring quality meets or exceeds requirements

We believe an SMT Operator will need the following to be successful:

Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) Operator – 3rd Shift

As an AOI Operator with us, you must be attentive to details and committed to quality.On a regular basis, you will:

  • Effectively operate the AOI operating system on the production line
  • Navigate and operate in a Windows Operating System environment performing proper PC boot up, shut down, and navigate drop down menus
  • Print and document recognition and interpretation of customers/EBW prints, WI’s/VA’s, Bill of Material, and the Institute of Printed Circuits (IPC)
  • Inspect boards under a camera to ensure IPC compliant solderability, correct part placement, and orientation and polarity accuracy
  • Advise Tech when silkscreen and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) show parts are off
  • Provide crucial visual inspection of boards to ensure quality, checking for skewing, missing solders and/or parts

As a technically experienced 3rd Shift Manufacturing Technician with us, you will provide technical support on all production equipment & machinery on the plant floor, along with providing maintenance support for the entire facility. In this position, you will stand for the majority of your shift and will also:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment
  • Coordinate with Vendor’s on necessary outside repairs and new equipment needs
  • Install, start up and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements
  • Advise operators and technicians of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic equipment and components
  • Provide support and training to operators and assembly personnel when necessary on various equipment & machines
  • Inform appropriate management of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved
  • Assist in plant maintenance internal and external activities including coordinating outside contractors and verification of work completion
  • Maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment
  • Perform routine & preventive maintenance functions for all production equipment

We believe a 3rd Shift Manufacturing Technician will need the following to be successful:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent – Required
  • 2 years of experience as a higher-level, technical production employee – Required
  • Experience with Testing of Analog and Digital Electronics – Required
  • Ability to troubleshoot PCBA’s to component level – Required
  • Ability to read and use a schematic for troubleshooting of Printed Circuit Assemblies – Required
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously – Required
  • Knowledge of machining and assembly practices, tools and fixturing – Required
  • Ability to work independently as well in a team environment – Required

As a Material Handler with us, you will rarely move product with a forklift.  In this role, it’s more about being a great team player, agile and careful with delicate product.  On a regular basis you will:

  • Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped
  • Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
  • File requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or designated route driver storage area
  • Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program
  • Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards 
  • Adhere to safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

We believe a Material Handler will need the following to be successful:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent – Required
  • 3 months or more related education, experience, training or equivalent combination – Required
  • Ability to perform basic math functions and write routine reports/correspondence – Required
  • Ability to clearly speak, read, and write English – Required
  • Ability to occasionally exert up to 50 lbs. force – Required
  • Ability to stand for an entire shift – Required
